Puerto Plata Info

We are thinking of staying at the Amhsa Paradise Beach Resort & Casino. Any information on this hotel is appreciated. Also is there much crime? How bad is it since the hurricane?

We are going there on the 13 of Feb. for 2 weeks. Everything I have heard of this resort is A1++++++++++++. One of the better ones in the area if not the best. And I have talked to many people over the last month. I`m sure you will have a great time.

hiya, i went here about a year ago now, but my friend has just got back. it was the beat holiday i have ever been on and i am totally jealous of you! i had a great time and the people were so friendly i felt right at home. there are many things to do at this resort, table tennis, swimming, tennis, basketball. i liked sitting by the pool and relaxing with my cocktails! they had activities by the pool each day and everyone, young or old joined in! the condition of the resort is fine after the hurricane. please email me if u like! love vic

Just got back yesterday from Paradise Beach Hotel - had a great time- very clean, good good and lots of variety. Plenty to do or relax on beautiful beach - staff friendly. Last year stayed at Gran Ventana next door - I liked Paradise Beach better. Would definitely go again.

I agree with you! I stayed at the Paradise Beach Club last year and really enjoyed myself! The staff are excellent, did you get to hang out with anyone in particular, maybe we know the same people??
