I am in Sosua.

I am looking for somewhere to have the blades sharpened on my dog grooming shears.

Any suggestions?
Ask a dog groomer or vet
In USA same places that sharpen knives and scissors. Or ask someone who has show cattle as that causes clipper blades to go dull quickly and get sharpened frequently.

Can you not just get this done at the local barber shop, they use clippers all day, and I'm sure clip plenty of dogs, but is the concept of dog or human clipper blade not the same? I've clippered my lurcher with my Wahl clippers before with a degree of success.

these are actual professional shears that I use once per month to give two dogs haircuts. I am not prepared to spend upwards of $1200 RD per dog when I can do it myself (and I'm getting pretty good at it too)...besides, I like the battle I have with the lahso apso/maltese...do you know how much they squirm when you start getting close to the nether region?? In any event, I really need to have the blades sharpened soon so thought I would start inquiring now.

Let me know if you find someone....I'm looking for someone to sharpen scissors.

You are on the right adress...Belgiank brought a little machine back from Belgium and we have again raiser sharp knives and scissors. Does NOT work for machetes and don't think it works for grooming shears either...sorry Mrs Silver Fox...

NP :)

Mr Boss is quite fasinated when I groom Shelby...he sits and watches and keeps tilting his head from side to side....quite cute for such a big oaf! He's getting quite the big bark now and is very, very loyal to me. He listens somewhat to Mr Silver Fox but I'm the one that is master. We figure he is pushing about 60 lbs now....getting to be a big boy. We'll have to meet up with you at the beach sometime for a visit. He hates the water in the pool but maybe he'll like the ocean. The last couple of visits weren't all that successful.

Oh, I didn't tell you that Boss his grandmother has something with everything that makes noise. Grandmom Acira has it especially for electric chainsaws, she managed to cut her whole nose open one day because she was so curious about it and Belgiank didn't see her coming and that bloody thing doesn't stop immediately. Both Acira and daddy Herion have something with lawnmowers, they have to attack it  and dad Herion does NOT like the tires of a driving car either...

Love to see Boss again, lets meet up and maybe I can get him to swim!

Clippers for Grooming

It never fails to provide the best, human clippers are different from dog clippers. My sister got a good pair at Ozsavers and she has them since, wors perfectly on her pet Shepherd.

thanks for sharing, I need the contact of Dr. DE la Cruz. Is he a general animal physician or specialist? Actually,
my one little beagle got a tumor on right rare leg and not going to dry soon.
I want an appointment.
