Now that the election is over and the reigning party has maintained it's power it now time to get back to business. The Samana Peninsula should benefit from the outcome. The current administration has put a lot of money into many projects around the area and hopefully this will continue. As we all know Madame VP has a personal interest in the LT area and the infrastructure should continue to benefit. The money here is well spent with the Samana Peninsula showing almost an 8% increase in tourist traffic. This leads the DR. This is not overly surprising with all of the foreigners and locals(Santo Domingo) who continue to partronize the area.
