What kind of photos are necessary to apply for visa (color or black and white) ?

Are there photo machines in Santo Domingo (where, price per photo) ? In Boca Chica ?

You can have passport size photos done in Boca Chica for 70 pesos. You'll get 4 colour photos for that price. I don't know the name of the shop, but it's on a little street that runs off of the main street about half way between the central square and the Hamaca. It's specifically a photo developing shop.

Visa application to where? DR governments allows black and white or color photos. A studio photographer will know what kind of pose is required for Dominican documents.
