Renew residency anywhere in POP??

Is it possible to avoid the painful trip to the Capitol?
I understand it's possible to do some renewal stuff in Santiago which would be better than going all the way down to S.D.
Any info greatly appreciated.

Santiago is an easier option from the north coast if you don't mind making two trips there. One to pay for renewal and then a second trip to pick it up. For me personally, I will do almost anything to avoid going to Santo Domingo so I opt for Santiago.
