I'm currently in the States on business but would like to send flowers to someone back home in the DR. Is this an exercise in futility?

I would think so. I know I've seen a florist in Plaza Tronco near Friusa. Sorry that's not too much help, but they are out there.

I've used 1vende.com a couple of times to send flowers to DR, - as long as there is some sort of address and the phone number, they can even deliver the same day.

Can you have a trusted friend or family member go to the Florist to get them for you and deliver it themselves?
