Already at 11 o'clock the bars in the main street Pedro Clisante were packed with party goers who wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve. In previous years it was not until two o'clock in the morning the bars and nightclubs filled up with clients. Why it was so busy so early, is a mystery. Anyway, at midnight the fireworks started on the beach of Sos?a with a great arsenal of rockets fired into the air.
