From today's Sosua News:

[h=5]Recently fishermen found a big Hawksbill sea turtle in the bay of Sos?a. The animal was caught between waste and left behind parts of nets.[/h] [h=5]Hawksbill sea turtle[/h]
[h=5]Bernardo Polanco, president of the Fishermen's Trade Union (Asociaci?n de Pescadores de Sos?a) said that the animal was almost dead, dehydrated and refused to eat. They rushed the turtle to Ocean World in Puerto Plata where there are experts who are able to rescue the animal. They gave the animal vitamins and activation injections. After a few hours the turtle was able again to eat some food. The intention is that the turtle, if it gets a little bit better, it will be brought back to the ocean back to his freedom.[/h]
