Today, Wednesday, employees came to work to find the doors padlocked. After closing off the back half of the store several weeks ago and having the power cut, along with declining numbers of customers, it was inevitable.

This is no surprise at all, they lost me as a customer the first time I was there. Charging more in a location you have to drive to was not a good business model.

What is Favorito? Are you talking about the grocery store across from Ocean Village? I hate to see anyone fail. But, if that is who you are talking about, they didn't start off on a good foot. Did they?

Used to be City Market, right? Too bad...you'd think that location would do well with right store/management.

should make it into a discount beauty supply warehouse like Sally, or some sort of wholesale place - probably not carpet warehouse lol

I am actually suprised that it stayed open for as long as it did. It was destined to fail from the get go. I did however like their roasted chicken (much better tasting and cheaper than Playero).
Sad to see this happen.

A hardwood flooring store would also be a bad idea. I would like to see a Trader Joe's.
