I am newbie to this forum so let me introduce myself. My name Is Alfredito, I’m looking forward in learning more about my culture. I was born in Bonao and moved to United States when I was 12 years old with my mother. When I turned 18 I joined the U.S Navy and stayed in the Military for about 25 years. I just retired a few years ago, and need to get back to my roots. I can speak and understand Spanish very well but I’m very rusty in writing it.

Lots of retired US Military here on DR1.
I'm a retired US Navy Corpsman.
I first visited the DR in 1986.I moved here 18 plus years ago. I have a "Dominicana" wife, and 4 kids.
The girl I "Should Have Married" was from Bonao.
Do you plan to visit the DR, or move here?

Great! I was a Disbursing Clerk $. Yes I'm planning a trip in the near future and even thinking of moving to DR. Just waiting for my marriage to come to an end. I married the girl from Bonao, that's where I went wrong. lol
