Mayor Ilana Neumann of Sos?a handed out diplomas last weekend to 25 girls between the ages of thirteen to fifteen for making jewelry. The girls had learned during the course to make jewelry like earrings, brooches, pendants, bracelets and necklaces with beads, pieces of metal and metal wire, leather and thread. The girls were invited to the graduation ceremony in the great hall of the town hall.
Here the students and their parents were welcomed with a drink, a snack and a welcome from the mayor. The mayor said she was inspired by a wise Chinese saying: 'Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him to fish and you feed him for life'. Furthermore, she thanked the two teachers Herminia de Faringthon and Daphna Villaman for their contributions to the project
