Canadian marrying a Dominican
I don't recall ever seeing such a step by step of paperwork.
Expect to get responses questioning the wisdom of marrying a Dominican.

I suggest you print the application form which includes a check list of all you both will need. There is so much that needs to be included, translated it will take you a while to do. The marriage certificate alone takes a while to get back then there are medicals, police report for the applicant which is the Dominican person. Again please print out the form.
The wait time to be approve right now is anything from 9 months to a more than a year. They did approve some in less than 4 months to get rid of the applications on hand before Oct 26 2012. Some rules have changed now
