Are there any movie theatres in or around PC. If not, where would the closest be.

No theatres in Punta Cana, but I know there are a few in Santo Domingo. I don't know if those are the closest or not, but there really aren't any theatres very close to Punta Cana.

There is a theater(s), Hollywood Plaza, in La Romana on the road entering the city from San Pedro de Macoris. I believe it is opposite the Texaco or the Shell gas station. The trip is about 70 miles or 1.5 to 2 hrs from Punta Cana. Regards, PJT

The closest movie theater is in Higuey, about one hour driving time from Punta Cana.

Mike, where is the movie theater in Higuey? I have been up and down many of its streets and have not seen anything that resembles a movie theater. Regards, PJT

For PJT - Location

It is right in front of the "parque" in Higuey. If you know where "La Nancy" (beer house and exchange office) is, it is almost next door.
