Upgrading iPad options?

In your opinion is part exchange a better option than sell private and then buy here? Street price on iPads here is so low, like RD5000 for a 16g 2nd, 50% more on a 3. Resell is 11,000 for the 2nd16g and so although prices are so high on new gear here, used stuff is relatively low.

Any opinions?
