restaurants in Punta Cana

What is El Cortecito? is it a restaurant?? what food? good? service?
Are there other restaurants in PC besides the restaurants in the resorts?

It is a small village/commercial area. Captain Cook's is a popular "tourist trap" restaurant. There are a couple small inns and hotels that have restaurants/bars. There is a super market there with the best prices on rum in the area. Try this link for a photo "calle de captain cook".
