Need a Laptop screen replaced

My princess broke my laptop screen yesterday and now I need it replaced. Any ideas of the cost and where to get it fixed promptly. I'm in Santiago. Or should I just leave it in the hands of my Mrs.

I've had to replace 2 screens for 2 different laptops this year...........
Forget about repairing...........
I found them on eBay and changed them myself.........

A non touch screen is about 115......give or take.......plus shipping...
Touch screen upwards of 250++++
Put the make and model number on Utube and you will get step by step instructions.........

Thanks guys. I found a guy or rather the wife found a guy that said about 4 to 5000 pesos to replace it. It will be a couple weeks

A lot of replacement screens are seconds................
Be diligent and find out where he is getting his from...........
Numbers and resolution have to be EXACTLY the same as the one being replaced..........
And they sometimes will come with dead pixels............
Make sure his guarantee covers dead pixels on the replacement............

I will keep all that in mind. The guy did say he would not give a firm price until he had the broken laptop to get the numbers and all.

get it on ebay, get same exact specs, and have a recommended tech replace it for you if you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself....
