Another major question is how it gets its money - has anyone ever seen those details published?
I used to work in the fundraising division of a major UK charity that at the time had an annual income of about ?120 million and it was a huge operation involving lots of public fundraising work, direct marketing (mass mailings, TV and radio, press advertising), corporate fundraising, institutional (EU, UK government, other bilateral/multilateral international donors), trusts and foundations, major individual donors, legacies, and income from a nationwide charity shop and volunteer fundraising network built up over decades.
In contrast, Funglode appeared almost overnight with a multi-million budget, gleaming office blocks, fleets of luxury vehicles, offices in other countries, a massive travel budget, fcuk knows how many employees... so where does the money come from?
