Just kidding!
BUT, I do have a little idea for some extra beer money, and I have a question or two for any medical folks living on the island.
I am a paramedic, and my wife is an RN. I am an AHA BLS and CPR Instructor with a friend who has a training center. This thought comes to me because I have seen a couple posts on the Everything Cabarete Facebook page asking for CPR Instructors. I thought maybe I could market myself to tour operators, hotels, people with nannies, schools ect. And possibly even sell some first aid kits/AEDs and what not.
My question is; do the medical professionals in the DR follow the AHA BLS and ACLS standards? Would I need any special permission from the DR Health Department to teach CPR, First Aid, and ACLS? And, are there already a lot of people/companies doing this sort of thing on the North Coast?
