So um, the person I'm dealing with at the SD Car Dealership (on whatsapp) said he will email me an invoice for the Car I'm buying. Every New Car I have ever bought in the USA or Canada there was always an "agreement"..

You know, I sign, the New Car Manager signs.. ect.

Is this common practice in the DR to buy a New Car and just receive an Invoice?

This is a reputable Dealership and they are putting it on a flat bed ( $300 extra) and I'm having it delivered. And I'll pick it up at the Airport..

So my question is strictly about Invoice VS Agreement!! Thats all I really want to hear.

sounds fine to me..... I'm trying to remember my transaction.... not w/ SDMotors but w/ a used car dealer.

I went, drove the car(test drive), haggled the price and signed something.

Wired the money to their account.... took CaribeTours to SD and drove home.

The invoice should be good..... one for them and one for you...

They'll give a receipt for your money , or e-mail... actually your bank gives you that

so, no - not an agreement as you're used to ----- at least from my experience

Same for me. Test drive, haggle on price, send quote, agree on phone, send invoice, make transfer, pickup car.
