Koreano, I would really like to repair my existing desktop and not sure exactly what a USB with windows would help in that area other than booting the system. Currently I can boot it consistently, I can not run Windows updates or update any driver, so its limping along. Also, when I try to install new apps, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, mostly doesn't. There aren't any software distribution lists, or Windows Update history. So all in all its a little goofy. Thanks again for your very generous offer but unless it will help repair this issue I wouldn't want to bother you. Also, I've researched all the issues and implemented those that matched but to no luck yet. By the way I repair laptops that were donated to a couple of poor villages in the pop area from time to time. They hold classes teaching English and other subjects free of charge as is my work. Mostly the hard drives are falling, they are old but are still useful for what they are used for. I thought I saw a product that is offered to poor country's that runs the OS from a USB but can't find it. That would really help out with these failing laptops. Any idea where I can get info on the product? thanks again for your help and offer.
