I wish. First of all, our lawyer tried on Friday 18 July. He had all the required swift codes and the all important IBAN number. The bank insisted that this number should have 24 digits and yet our receiving Bank here confirmed on at least three occasions that there were only 22. The BP said they therefore could not send till Monday 21 July. On that Day they issued various prices of paper indicating that the money was on its way. On Thursday, after making 28 calls from the Uk to the BP in Santo Domingo - they kept asking us to hold whilst they transferred the call to the appropriate dept. Then the line went dead after about 3 or 4 minutes of being on hold. Eventually we ascertained theMoney was still in BP's coffers. They said that they had a fault in the system or the teller made a mistake - take your choice. On Friday 25 July they tell us that indeed the money is on its way and would take 24 hours to reach us. Today is Sunday 27 July some 10 days since we first asked BP to do it and we still are waiting for the money. By the way, checking to see if it has arrived is not tracking.
