Several companies offer air taxi or charter services within the Republic, all based at Herrera airport. Alas Nacionales, T5426688; Transporte A?reo SA, T5674549; Coturisca, T5677211. Dorado Air (T6861067) flies between Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata several times a day on Friday and Saturday.
Flights go to Santiago, Puerto Plata, Barahona, Portillo and La Romana daily. Air Santo Domingo, Avenida 27 de Febrero 272, esq Seminario, T6838020, has regular flights between Santo Domingo (Herrera and Las Am?ricas) and Puerto Plata (US$44), Punta Cana (US$54), El Portillo and Arroyo Barril, Saman? (US$35); also flights from Puerto Plata to Punta Cana (US$59).
