PUERTO PLATA The Chief of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (AMET) ordered the replacement of Northern Regional Director based in Puerto Plata, while the highest authority of the National Police appointed a new commander in the province of Sosua.
Reportedly, the new director of the AMET in Puerto Plata is the lawyer Colonel Juan Guzm?n Toribio, who is taking the position instead of Colonel Moses Carlos Mart?nez who has been transferred to another province.

Guzman Toribio is native to this area of Puerto Plata, he is a grandson of the engineer Polibio Diaz Toribio, while Martinez was in charge of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (AMET) in this jurisdiction since 30 October last year when he replaced Colonel Nelson Morrillo after the famous incident with former deputy Alfonso Crisostomo (The Beloved) that caused the transfer of all the funds of that institution.

In other news, Colonel Rolando Rosario Guerrero was sworn in as new inspector of the National Police in the tourist town of Sosua, who is replacing Colonel Jose Florentino Santos, who thanked the business community as well as the whole Sosua?s population support he received during his time.

It might be a good idea to roll them over every now/then.

In Canada, bank managers used to be obliged to take their vacations.... they cannot waive them.
They must be out of the office for 10 consecutive days, once a year.

Banks felt that was sufficient time to uncover any 'schemes' a manager might be perpetrating.

The CIBC caught an IRA guy that way.... regional VP in Toronto

It might be a good idea to roll them over every now/then.
Indeed it is routine to rotate them around the country. Lower ranks too. It does not normally imply dissatisfaction.

It helps to ensure their loyalties are to their superiors and gives them less time to get in deep with local interests.
