As the reluctant inheritor of my Beloved Son's increasingly aged (he's 15; the dog. Not the son) ---and increasingly incontinent dog---I am wondering if there is any business in the general Sosua/Cabarete/Sabaneta area that specializes in professional cleaning. Carpets in particular. I have a gorgeous, antique Chinese wool & silk rug, 8'x10', that has resisted baking soda, smelly foams, constant vacuuming, pee-pee pads, etc. I need me a Stanley Steemer!

Believe it or not, I have good rug cleaning success at the car wash.
I supervise them, they do the 'heavy lifting' and we treat things gently.
Most good carpets just need a good wipe in a snowbank..... not available here.

Weve used his car detailing service and know others who have had mattresses & furniture steam cleaned by him. I am certain he would let you know if his steamer is or is not appropriate for your carpet.Give him call.I think he is Serbian but speaks perfect English.
