Hello

Another one

I have found the pictures for Jarabacoa and Cayo Levantado floating around on the web. Where are these....in the North South, central??

With us staying ion the north will it be easy to travel to these places. One thing i should explain is that we won't be driving ourselves so we would always be looking at private transport etc...

Thanks

Paul

Cayo Levantado is an island in the Bay of Samana. There are boats going back and forth from the pier in Samana. Jarabacoa is in the mountain area in central part of country. If it isn't shown on your map, look for La Vega. It is in that general area.

There is a Caribe Tour bus to Samana that leaves Puerto Plata at 7am and Sosua at 7:30. Gets to Samana about 10:45. Leaves Samana at 4pm. You would be very, very pressed for time to go to Cayo Levantado the same day, but it could be done. Better to spend the night in Samana.

Getting to Jarabacoa also possible by bus, but some bus changing will be necessary enroute. It is definitely not a day trip.
