Next week we are traveling to the Samana Peninsula, Dom. Rep. and are staying at Casa Marina Bay Resort, (formely Cala Blanca). I was informed that peanut oil is heavily used in cooking in this area, although the chef at the resort assured me that they mostly use olive oil. Is there anyone who has any experience in this matter. Our child is four years old. Thank You. Nancy
