I have received an e-mail virus warning from a freind of mine about a file called - jdbgmgr.exe -. I have checked my system & indeed I DO have this file there but it has been there since 18th Feb this year & as far as I am aware, my computer hes been working fairly well since that date. SLOW agreed, various crashes & occassionally bad log off proceedures too, but basically working rather than constant failures.
Does anyone know if the file (jdbgmgr.exe) performs any important function in the system or is it safe to delete? This was sugeested as the course of action to take by the e-mail warning - but somehow I have my doubts on this!! Certainly this has never shown up as a virus on my Norton 2002 virus check, which I run every week!!
Thanks in advance for the feed-back - Grahame.
