Hoi ,

I will boulding a house in the DR .
Do I need an architect plan ?
I have a groundplan , is this enough ?

Wim: In English that is "building" . I wish I could say the same thing in Dutch!...
Anyway, you need plans approved by the Department of Public Works. These plans have to be signed by a licensed Civil Engineer. A groundplan is not enough. And, I am sure there are a few more complications that I don't know about.!!

Have your builder (which by law must be a licensed civil engineer or architect) obtain the necessary permits. The final permit is the construction license issued by the Department of Public Works.
