Tourist visa requirements
- Evidence of financial situation, i.e. a letter from the bank, bank statement and/or letter from employer
- Letter of invitation from host in the UK
- 2 passport sized photos (2x2)
- Valid passport - at least 6 months
- If the applicant hasn't travelled before they will have to go for an interview
- Completed application form, available from the British Embassy 9-12 Monday to Friday
- RD$972 whether or not visa is granted
In the case of student visas these require proof that the applicant has registered at a language school or any other educational institution.
