Ok Gang.

A friend of mine is going down to Punta Cana this weekend and he wants to know about any white Water rafting excursions.
Can anybody recomend a reputable outfit? how about a Jeep Safari tour?

I don't think so

Maybe there are Jeep tours, but I doubt if there is rafting in that part of the island...Maybe??
However there is plenty to do, never fear...

There are "jeep tours" and the names of the outfits that come off the top of my head are, Bavaro Runners, Outback Safari, Monster Jeep Safari. There are others. However, the names escape me.

Once your friend is in the area he will find information at the resorts.

White water rafting in Punta Cana, only during hurricanes.

The rafting does not have to be in the Punta Cana area. They do rent cars in the DR!

I don't know how the weather has been in the mounains around Jarabacoa, but on the flats it has been terribly dry. Makes me wonder how good the rafting will be this weekend.

If your friend does a google search for rafting+Dominican Republic he will get a lot of info.
