I was under the impression that the refinery was part of the Mega Port at Manzanillo, NOT at Montecristi!
In addition there were people here about a month ago doing an "impact study" for the installation of a coal-fired generating plant. From all indications, they were surveying for the h--- of it, because they were confused as to the location of some of the existing "facilities" in the neighborhood. Also, they didn't know that a hospital was being built (for the past 18 months) on part of the site they had selected (undoubtable from a platt) to place some of the service buildings.
LOL, maybe they have "intimate friends" in the government?????
Anyway, for what it's worth, that my input to ONE very good rumor.
