This isn't necessarily DR related, but it does involve the other side of the island. In watching the Discovery Health channel, I have seen a couple of adoption specials in which white Canadian families have chosen to go to Haiti to adopt a black child. White families adopt children from other races all the time but I was just wondering how popular the Canadian/Haitian connection was. Since we have a number of Canadian posters here I was just wondering if you all knew how common this was or if it was a new phenomenon. Thanks for indulging me.
