That headline caught my eye in the news today and reminded me of a recent news article in the same breadth, however a bit more negative.

Sorry to you sensitive types, but I thought this was interesting, if not sick.

Interesting this happened in Mass. A fellow I went to elementary school with here in Maine is in jail now with two broken legs. He broke them himself in the hope of getting Oxycontin pills to sell.

It is sick and sad.

That artcle does not paint the total picture. The elder Dominican woman was not the ring-leader. There were doctors and lawyers who recruited people like her...paid them a small amout of money....filed fraudulent medical and litigation claims...search the Boston Globe archives and you will find some of it there.

I dont think so. People from all walks of life cunjure up schemes like that.
