My prediction that a "scary monster" was going to call Hippo and threaten with WWIII if we are touched by the tax man came true. I still dont feel safe, even though I predict an increase of the ITBIS and more property taxes before they hit us.
-The latest Hippo scandal, the appointment of ANYARA, the sexy and curvy TV hostess whose only talent is to answer sex questions on late night shows wearing practicly no clothes, as second in command at the Dominican embassy in Spain is causing more headaches for our dumb president. This gal has never held a regular job anywhere. The curious thing is that ANYARA is a Leonel protege, who got personal lessons at his apartment and helped her write her thesis. She also is a PLD follower. She really knows how to use "her talent" being able to get Hippo and the PRD to appoint her to a job where 3000 "lambones" are lining up for.
-Hippo foreign scandals do not end there. He also appointed "belly dancer" Vanessa Angulo to Dominican Consul in the German city of Hamburg. But Hippo forgot to ask her if she was available!!!!!! Her father called El Gobierno de la Ma?ana to state that her daughter has no time with her belly dancing school business responsibilities to be in DR and Hamburg at the same time. She also was not contacted about the appointment!!!Hehehehe.
-Army Chief Zorrilla, a PPH front has now created a dangerous precedent of involving himself in the elections of the Army Retirees Union and forcing his own candidate for the head job. Obviously the man chosen by "the political general" is a PPH stooge. The pnesioners are up in arms about this, but they can do nothing. Zorrilla is a mini Trujillo reborn.
-Another general always in the middle of trouble is my favorite policeman, Guzman Fermin, who is now in the middle of a big brouhaha with a former employee of his own business. Yes, you heard right. Guzman, the son of former police chief General Guzman Acosta, has time to run his own business. As you can see, a general salary grows fast enough to help you become a business guru. But then, he learned from Santo Domingo Mayor Roberto Salcedo, who has time to run the largest city in the Caribbean and Central America and time to run his major TV productions and being host at the same time. Miracle men!!
-Guido Gomez Mazara made Listin Diario lay the biggest egg in political history by placing the front headline in yesterdays newspaper stating that "The PRD summit of candidates agreed toi a convention" of the PRD party and agreed on all points on the agenda. But only a few hours later, Milagros Ortiz Bosch and Fello"blink eye" Subervi, the key candidates in the Summit published a signed statement saying they will not participate in further summits with Hippo until he agrees to meet their demands on twp key points of the agenda!! EMBARRASSING.
-Hippo has asked George Bush for extra protection for our soldiers and Bush has agreed. Our soldiers are now almost in a protective coccoon in the company of the other Latin countries soldiers and the Spain contingent. Saddam Hussein is working 24 hours a day planning an attack on Dominican soldiers. Hippo is in panic. He knows the minute they announce the first Dominican casualty HE IS HISTORY!!!!!
-The Dominican Air Force does not pay their phone bill with CODETEL. Their phones are DISCONNECTED!!! Can you believe the security of our air space being compromised because Hippo spends all our tax money campaigning???
-Hippo and some business leaders keep talking about 5 or 6 dollar speculators who are causing the peso/dollar exchange problem. But if Hippo knows who they are, how come he keeps silent? Truthfully, this is a Hippo fable and fictional story. We dont have a speculator mafia. The entire country is chasing dollars.
