Winter Season Update; 2003/2004

American Airlines (AA)

Will decrease frequency on Miami - Santo Domingo route from 4 daily to 3 daily effective 5 January 2004, operated on B738 and AB6

Will increase service on Boston to Santo Domingo route from 5 weeky to 1 daily effective 15 December 2003 operated on Saturdays with B777 and the other days AB6/B752

Air Santo Domingo (EX)

Will increase frequency on Santo Domingo to New York route from 3 weekly to 1 daily effective 8 December 2003, operational aircraft B752

Will increase frequency on Santo Domingo to San Juan route from 1 daily to 12 weekly (1 daily and 5 extra flights daily except Sat, Sun effective from 26 November till 30 December) operated in a B722

Aeromar L?neas A?reas Dominicanas (BQ)

Increase flights on Santiago to New York route from 1 weekly to 1 daily effective 25 November 2003 operated in a B752

Resumes daily flights on Santo Domingo to New York effective 25 of November 2003 operated in a B752 (B767/747 changes are possible)

Will start service from Santo Domingo to Curacao effective 2 December 2003, frequency is 3 weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday operated in a B737

Increase flights on Santo Domingo to Aruba/Caracas route from 2 weekly to 3 weekly effective 28 November 2003 operated on a B737

Will start non-stop service from Santo Domingo to Caracas effective 1 December 2003 operational days Monday and Friday operated on a B737

Suspend routes from Santo Domingo to Miami and Havana till new notice

Air Caraibes (TX)

Will start service from Santo Domingo to Port Au Prince effective 15 January 2004, frequency is daily except Tuesday on a ERJ45

Lan Dominicana (4M)

Increase flights on Miami to Santo Domingo route from 3 weeky to 4 weekly effective 7 December 2003, operational days are Mon, Wed, Fri and Sunday operated in a B763

Aero Continente -Dominicana (N6 -9D)

Increase flights on Miami to Santo Domingo route from 4 weekly to 1 daily effective from 15 December 2003 till 15 January 2004 operated on a B762

Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espa?a (IB)

Changes schedule on Madrid to Santo Domingo/San Juan route, service is daily, Non-stop to Madrid on Tue,Thu,Sat,Sun on Mon,Wed,Fr via San Juan and from Madrid to Santo Domingo Noin-stop on Mon,Wed,Fri,Sat,Sun and 1 stop at San Juan on Tue and Thursday operated on a A343 and A346

BWIA West Indies Airways(BW)

Will start service on 7 December 2003 on Port of Spain to Santo Domingo route 2 weekly on Tuesday and Saturday operated on a B738

Continental Airlines (CO)

Will increase flights on Newark to Santo Domingoi route from 1 daily to 2 daily effective 16 December 2003 operated on B777, B764 and B738

Will increase flights on Newark to Santiago route from 5 weekly to 1 daily effective 17 December 2003 operated on a B738 and 73G

Offers direct service from Boston to Santo Domingo route via Newark departing at 16:00 from Boston on a B738

Air Transat (TS)

Will start seasonal charter flights to Santo Domingo from Canada (Montreal) with a A310 on Sundays (1 weekly)

Copa Airlines(CM)

Will change equipment on Santo Domingo to Panama City the 2 daily flights are now operated with B73G and B738 (before was 2 73G)

Dutch Caribbean Airlines (K8)

Have added extra seasonal flights from Curacao to Santo Domingo and Bonaire to Santo Domingo as St Maarten to Santo Domingo non-stop in DC9 and MD80

Aeromar Lineas Aereas Dominicanas (BQ)

Will resume all operation on 8th of December to New York from Santo Domingo and Santiago, negotiations to resume Miami soon as possible, Aeromar are on negotiations to pay all debts and resume operations on the dates i have posted.

He's posting the Aeromar part based on a letter of intent they have from a group combined in NYC and air Atlanta. Only dreams and of course to operate the high season and then it's pull out time as most of the previous Dominican carriers.
