Decent phone rates

I don't have any financial interest in this, with the exception of my saving a bunch of money, but I found a good phone card.

IDT (1-800-225-5438) is a company where you set up a "prepaid" system for long distance calls. You charge whatever amount you like to a credit card and "work off" that balance. There is no monthly charge, no set up, no first minute surchareg etc. The cost 24 hours a day to the DR is .22 per minute German .12 (The two countries I happen to call), and they are not rounded up.

It works for me.

Thanks great info. I have been through several cards. Wierd how they work. my friend moved and her first three numbers changed and my old card would not even let me call her anymore. It is also amazing how a card is cheaper then calling direct from the house.
