We plan to visit the north coast next month. We have looked at a lot of places and need some help. We are looking for a place to stay that has a kitchen for cooking. Would like a place with a genarater and Close to the locals for we love to make new friends. We have a baby and 2 adults and plan to stay @ 10 days. We are not into the all inclusive places to stay or casinos. If you can help pleas do so it is so hard to know where to stay if you have never been to your Island. Thank you ! Have a great day. Laura.

Sosua by the see is inexpensive and some units are 1 bedroom apartments with kitchens. See the link below for a review and also see their website at http://www.caribecom.com/hotel/sosuabts/sbts.htm.

A After years of living and visiting Sosua, experience tells me the beast value in Sosua is Hotel Tropix. Prices are very reasonable, and it's onlya 5 or 6 minute walk to the beach, it doesn'thave a generator, but does have solar lighting when the lights go out. Only 12 rooms, it does have a nice pool, beautiful tropical gardens and friendly staff. Sylvie, the owner was born in Sosua. she speaks English, German and Spanish. Each room has a small fridge, and there is a community kitchen where you can fix some meals. telephone, fax. (8090571-2291
