Hello Everyone,
Just got back from Puerto Plata. Best week of my life. The people are some of the nicest I have met. The only problem I had was with "tour guide" that I had with a taxi. he was pretty informative, but kept pushing us towards shops of people he obviously was either doing business with or were very good friends. Went sucba diving at Sosua Beach it was Excellent!!! will report more as I get a chance.

Bob,
I will be happy to send you the email address of my Taxi driver who I have used my last five trips to Puerto Plata. He is punctual, speaks great English, and has over time, become a good friend! He is also NOT a commissioned salesman.

Do you live down there?? where are some of the "hot spots". I didn't have alot of time there, but plan on going down many more times.
