Does anyone know how much a passport costs for Dominicans who may wish to travel outside their country, and how long it might take to obtain one ??? Thanks.

Please do a search typing in passports or try this link for starters

Your question is all too vague for someone to help you. Are you Canadian/American/European trying to get a Dominican into your country, different rules for different countries.
Try searching under the legal section as well, find the scenario that fits your situation and then if you have additional questions, come back and ask.

Regardless of the destination the guy just wants to know where you go and what it costs so the rules for visas are irrelevant.

There is a Spanish language only web site of the DR government which explains where you go and the costs and procedure and I suggest a google search may uncover it. It is not a lot of money and is not that hard to get - with cedula and birth certificate. I know a friend who got one in a couple of weeks and I think it was under $30 at the time (in pesos).

You are right Rick

I'm sorry - I was reading passport and thinking visa, just disregard my last post.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention Rick.

This may help the OP:

LInks to the requirements for all sorts of passports. In espanol, however I'd assume applicants can read Spanish well enough.

Thanks Rick, that's all the info I needed. Just wanted to know if it was hard and/or expensive. You answered my question well.
