Samantha67...

Okay. To the best of my knowledge:

di que = dizque; comes from 'dice que'; means 'supposedly'.

hick (I hear this a lot among teens) = hick. English. It means an obtuse, unsophisticated, backwards person who doesn't have access to a dictionary.

dale nena = you go girl! Could also mean 'hurry, girl', or 'hit her, girl'.

Mi Gwuafi = My I-have-no-idea. It's slang for something.

el bohio = the home; the 'crib'.

muevete mujer = move woman! Could also mean 'hurry, woman'.

gringo = any light-skinned North American.

There you have them. Enjoy!

If this is from New York or therabouts

mi gwuafi is probably My girlfriend a "Spanglish" term used by New York based Dominican kids trying to speak from the "hood" .

dale nena has serious sexual under/overtones. So does mu?vate mujer. Both refer to a quickening of the sexual movements during intercourse or during some of the more intense dances being done nowadays.

"hick"; this is funny, because what you are really hearing is "?Y qu??" or What's up? "Wassup" in ghetto speak. It sounds like "ike" but with a longer "eee" out front: eekay?

the rest is probably correct althought there is still controversy as to the origin of "gringo" ...

HB

Oh yeah, "di que" or diz que also means So it's said. a sort of sassy answer.
As in "Di que Mart?nez es mejor pitcher que Clements" The answer "Di Que" is rhetorical and means "Yeah, right" is a nasty way.
Alex Rodriguez is a better player than Soriano. "Di que!"

Real Academia de la Lengua Espa?ola:
dizque.
(De dice que).
1. m. Dicho, murmuraci?n, reparo. U. m. en pl.
2. adv. Am. Al parecer, presuntamente.

dizque (from "de dice que" - 'so it's said' in Spanish)
1. Masculine name. Saying, gossip, doubt.
2. Adverb, Americanism. Supposedly, seemingly.

The rest has been explained thoroughly.
