Fellas- It's called fleet management. Jet Blue's terminal may not necessarily result in DR flights at reasonable hours. I hope it does, but its more for scheduling other flights especially to the West Coast. Those same planes (each with different names like bluesky, bluecloud, blueblabla) run trips into and out of DR from the beginning and end of other trips. I think the DR scheduling is a smart move on JetBlue behalf, and hope its works. But not many people want to arrive at an airport at 3 AM.
I think they may have been better getting more planes but a NYC Hub is good too. Cross your fingers.
