Not a lot. Big meal and church the night before and the gifts for the kids are not until the Feast of the Kings on Jan 5th. You realize that Boxing Day is only UK and Canada, right?

Actually

It is Christmas EVE that is most celebrated.

Big, and I mean BIG, meal, of roast pig, roast Turkey, all of the possible trimmings, booze galore, pastries, fruits and nuts.

The Santa comes to visit, in our case, in a horse drawn buggy. Kids and adults get their presents, chaos reigns for an hour and then everyone, or most everyone goes to bed or to Mass at midnight.

There is some visiting during the afternoon, evening and night.

Christmas day is sort of for recovering from the night before with more relaxed visiting of friends and family.
