I am told the reconditioned Daihatsu vehicles are on sale at very reasonable prices but I can't find where. We are in Las Terrenas.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

The baby gua gua's (mini vans) are fun the drive

BUT you've got to have little feet to work the pedals.
I have a 97 a bought this past spring in Santiago. Even made it to Puerto Plata with no problem. Sliding doors on both sides, seats fold down for lots of cargo. I have a 5 speed with air, 4wd and 3 cyclinder 660 cc mill with factory turbo. Keeps up with traffic quite nicely. Paid 130k pesos (40-1).

Luperon?

I went to look at some of these little tin boxes, the location was on the Luperon, west-side. Roughly in the mid-point between shore and the Botanico, near the small airport (guerrera?, I don't recall the name).

They had come over from the East in containers, some had the roofs chopped off so that they could fit more of them in the containers. They welded them back together and it was as good as new, almost.

Very cheap prices, but I don't remember any of that information.
