We did have and now we don't have but the family class now includes both common-law relationships and conjugal relationships, with the same sponsorship requirements as the old fiancee class but no obligation to marry within 90 days. Assuming it is reasonably easy to convince Immigration Canada as to the bona fide nature of the conjugal relatinship this may be better than the old rules.
