Kristine 2378:

I believe there are hair dryers in the rooms, but you can check the resort out and take a virtual tour at www.solmelia.com. The last phone number I have for them is 1-(809) 221-1290, fax is 1 (809) 221-0809. Golf clubs are available to rent at the Cocotal Country Club/Palma Real Villas which is affiliated with and just across the circle from the Sol Melia itself. As to golf reservations, why not phone the hotel and ask them direct. It would be best to have someone call that can speak a little Spanish so there is nothing lost in translation.

Enjoy, it is a beautiful resort. Out of the 25 or so AI resorts in the Punta Cana area, it certainly makes my top ten.

Respectfully,

One of the top resorts on the east coast. May want to inquire about the fire last weekend. Took out two resturants, don't know if it was The Tropical or Caribe.
