Travelling on Easter?

Help with Easter travel

We will be ending a stay in Samana on Easter Sunday and will need to travel back to Santo Domingo that day. Will buses be running? Some sources I have read say that the country really shuts down on Easter. How much so?

Of course they will be running

That is just a saying. Metro and others will be servicing the Saman? area. But get there early or make your reservation and buy your tickets early..
