Hi

Can you recommend any Builders or Architects in Santiago/Puerto Plata,
for a private home.

What sort of quality work do you know they did, and what prices are
they asking ?

Any help is appreciated.

Thankyou
MrM

Big diffeence between Santiago and Puerto Plata

You can work with Manuel Dur?n and Mairen? Bournigal at Dep?sito Ferretero there in Puerto Plata. Cornelio Mat?as can do the electrical installation.

If you want people from Santiago, then you have Constructora Teddy and Anthony Canaan, plus a host of architects.

All depends on what, where and when.

Thanks, pricing...etc

Hi

Thanks Hillbilly, Escott

Escott, How can I find this Jose Hache ?

Hillbilly, I read that prices are better in Santiago,
actually I'm going to build an upscale house near Sosua, would the guys from Santiago take a job over here ?

There seems to be a huge difference between the price levels quoted by some architects (500-700USD/sqm) and the "Maestro, buy material yourself - approach" :

wonder why... who is taking all the extra money, and is it justified.

What about earthquake proofing, what is the best way, steel bands ?

thanks
