Just ATL for now. United is starting IAD (Washington Dulles)-PUJ effective early December and Continental is starting IAH (Houston)-PUJ also on December, prices have to wait until loaded on the RES system.

Right now, Delta is quoting 775 r/t from ATL-PUJ. Let's see if they lower the prices in the upcoming months.

There is no standard regular passengers on this route, only american tourists who come for vacations, so they need a charter airfare. Apple vacations operate charter flights to PUJ with airfare 290 - 390 USD, so Delta should find a touroperator to sell its flights.

Apple vacations does not use a charter sevice anymore(used to be USA 300) They are useing US Air (east coast) and the package prices reflect it.

They seem to play the game of supply and demand. AA out of Hartford is 562 rt. and will go down in Sept. when airfares go on sale.

well, but 775 USD rt fare from ATL to PUJ is extremely expensive. During the low season you can go to LON from NYC paying half of that price.

I agree, flying out of NYC is sooo much cheaper, even more than Hartford. if you figure the 3 hour travel, gas, parking (expensive) and hotel for 2 nights, and dinner and cocktails, you end up coming out behind. Hartford AA rt's go from 660 to around 525 in September, last winter was 505.......not to bad.
Pan Am clipper is also advertising wicked low fares....282 from hartford rt non-stop....but try and book one. You can not get ANY date. Totally useless.

What? Apple Vacations is a sister company of USA 3000. They work together to bring the passengers from the USA into Punta Cana. I can say that about 65% of the passengers of USA 3000 are from Apple Vacations customers.

I think even more than 65%, some flights by USA3000 are completely for Apple Vacations.
A friend of mine that is in the travel business told me that Apple is not useing USA 3000 anymore. I found this hard to beleive, having flown several times, and went into www.applevacations.com Click your way along for a PC all inclusive. When you come to the air portion of the program, depending on where you are flying from, (ie:hartford) it will show either US Air or AA.
The prices also reflect the same. PC was about 950-1000 from Hartford, and now shows 1300. Don't forget the first price they show is without tax. The 1300 package is 1008 without tax.

After browsing around Apples website, seems that only Philly flights are still useing USA 3000, which is also their home base. Flights out of Hartford, Atlanta and Miami all show American Airlines as the carrier.
