Recommended Maps?

We are traveling to Santiago, Santo Domingo and Boca Chica in November. I have been searching for some good maps before we go. Does anyone have any recommendations for street maps of those cities or just a big map of the DR? Should we just wait and pick one up in the cities?

The Berndtston&Berndston map is the best map of the DR that I've seen so far. It is laminated for easy use and longer life. City maps of Sto. Domingo and Santiago are included. For Boca Chica do as Willie said; it is pretty small.

Many stores catering to tourists in the DR have these maps in stock at about $10 US. I've bought several of them as souvenirs for people I've brought to visit the DR.

here are some more sources for maps.....still i would love to get a map like the ones Hagstroms sells in america. That shows every road....so you can go anywhere, and not have to ask directions and look like a big juicey steak hanging in front of a junk yard dog..to the guy you just asked directions from! ..........http://www.hispaniola.com/dominican_republic/info/maps.php
