I go to the Dominican Republic every summer but this is the first time im paying for my ticket so im going to the Dominican Republic from july 21st to august 5th i was wondering when is the best time to buy my tickets when will it be the cheapest and i was also thinking of taking Continental from newark to santiago (closest airport to my campo) but i am willing to take the cheapest!

Definetly buy now if the fare drops you can get a voucher. If fare increases later then your screwed.
i just cheked the jet blue site it leaves at 12:55 and arrives at 4:30 so i would just have to find a friend wo would pick me up at that time well as i said its the first time i pay for it so my parents just told me to wait and if the fare increases they will pay the increased amount so i guess it all works out

I just purchased my tickets on Delta for July. Will travel to Dr from JFK to STI for $323.68. Can't beat that fare. Will be in DR from July 1 to July 21. Delta offers excellent on-board service, departure and arrival time. I dumped AA.

EWR to POP on CAL is $323.70 in January, you do not need to buy a ticket 7 months in advance to find a bargain, but enjoy the trip!
